Text Box: The CCA continue to be busy since the AGM, after setting out a membership development policy, the Board have set up the exciting ‘Pamper Weekend’ competition along with the ‘Pudding’ competition, more of which are included in this edition. The Board are also active in the South of England, [Portsmouth in July], we are keen to increase the membership in the south. ‘The early 60’s saw the CCA grow from this area, the Southern Luncheon was a major event in the CCA diary until fairly recently’ Ian Dibdin informed the Grapevine. ‘The visit will allow the Board the chance to develop new relationText Box: ships with the colleges and schools in the south coast’ stated David Bell, membership director. The visit will coincide with the Naval College display.                                              Meanwhile Purchasing have been working with the suppliers to offer ‘Back to school deals’. Available in August we’re promised they are  bigger and better than last year, keep your eyes on the website for the latest deals as they are finalized. Text Box: Another year finished, but it wont seem too long before we welcome the kids back. All too soon the summer period of planning, organizing, budget setting and the rest of the stuff we have to deal with over those, oh so short summer break, will be over… Well good news is at hand. We at the CCA are only to familiar with these issues, although we cannot make them go away we can get you in the Text Box: right frame of mind. We have on offer a ‘Pamper weekend’.  By selecting  venues throughout the UK, we are offering all members the opportunity to enter their name into a draw, with the first out winning an exclusive weekend at a Spa Resort where you and a friend will enjoy an overnight stay, with pamper sessions set out on a programme of over indulgence. Included is a twin room, dinner, bed and breakfast.  All Text Box: you have to do is get there.
